How to choose new rim?

Hi,

I want to buy a pair of new rims to replace the 29" WTB in my cannondale. I am interested in DT XR 400 29" and ZTR Arch 29"EX but I do not which one is stronger and more durable. My front hub is lefty and rear hub is Chris King. My weight is 70 kg.

Besides, should the spoke tension in my wheels tend to higher or normal?

Thanks.

Just fitted ZTR Arch EX 29er rims myself this past weekend and pleased with my choice so far, so the ZTR's have my vote as well.

I really like my WTB frequency i19's.

The DT swiss rim is not a good choice. Te lig in die broek.

I have ArchEX and WTB frequency i23........ the WTB's get my vote

I ended up buying the i23's :)

Going to have to give the hopes a try as well... I have read around and almost every thread I read everyone recommends hope. So, if it ends up too noisy, I will have to swop it out later. :)

I think that's pretty much the most reliable lightweight setup. You will end up raving about the i23's......... They look good, cheaper, Stronger(IMHO) and weigh the same as the Stans equivilent.

I have a pair of white ZTR crests than need a home. Looking for R1500 for both of them.

They came from a wheel set I converted to tubular.. They in good working order.
