NO!!! I'll serve as a manager to the tour of mauritius or something. If I'm on the board there wont be anything left of the old clan' date=' or they'll kill me.[/quote']

Groot Lem, can I come with you on the Tour of Mauritius? Maybe I'll learn something about cycling, you always have the kwaaiest after stage parties with all the coolest chicks.... Plus we can give a Supercycling interview and you can show SA what real development is all about, will bring my own torn shorts and jersey, oh, and will leave bling shoes at home... Big%20smile

Please please... Embarrassed

not withstanding the fact that clothing makes the man, one could consider the TYPE of clothing we are talking about. I believe LE has stood the test of time with his dress code and we should accept that it is not going to change. Ever. He is now synonymous with his T-shirt slogans, scruffy jeans and tyre sandals.

I think that in future the TV presenters should rather change to make him feel more comfortable. No shoes form them, shorts, torn sleeveless T-shirt perhaps . (For Arnold and Andrew to show their biceps) After-all he is the guest of the program!

GL daai goed gaan jou in die moeilikheid laat beland! And also since we are talking about you 2 rather interesting fellows. (GL en LE.) Loved and hated, Admired and rejected. Wearing pink at the races. Even at the Epic. Dont have real jobs. Always somewhat upstream. On long one short. When the one is fit the other is unfit. Never in perfect agreement with anything and with anyone.  . . I think you are a good fit for the cycling governing bodies!!

When you go on national TV dress appropriately thats all I am saying.

How many people watch the show?? - millions.

How many people know Mr Lemmer?? - very few, maybe a few hundred.

How many people will look at his image on TV and say - "sheesh", how can I take this guy seriously?? - ??????????????

Do you people honestly think its only the informed who WATCH THE SHOW, do you honestly think its only those people who see Mr Lemmer riding around with a smile on his face who watch the show - Wake up man,  most viewers dont know the CSA from the local green grocer, they form an opinion from appearance and information.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MR LEMMER PERSONALLY OR WHAT HE DOS OR DOS NOT DO FOR CYCLING, I WILL REPEAT, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MR LEMMER PERSONALLY OR WHAT HE DOS OR DOS NOT DO FOR CYCLING,........................................its about portraying an image of professionalism, and if he is important enough to go on THE ONLY CYCLING SHOW ON TV in my opinion he should dress appropriately.

Thats it,.........................I will say no more on the matter.

Ewep I suggest we have a copy of the financials for the past congress passed onto the provinces and clubs for scrutiny as well, maybe then we will be informed as to where all the monies go and after the next congress we can have a copy of the proposed new budget to follow the next spend for 2007/2008 season. "Spinnekop waar kan n mens a copy kry van die finansies" I have been requesting same from CGC for past two and half years, no luck. Mnr COO kan jy hiermee help

I see our president has also stopped wearing a tie

However Mugabe still wears his

Fact is, LE is NOT going to go the colonial dress code. Ever.

So, do we still want him as COO or not.

Not a perfect world. Ask Eskom.

If they get a new T-shirt wearing CEO that can get things working, I'll take him

Not sure about the Kwagga GL. I take it you refer to the female gender.

Steer clear brother, as long as you possibly can.

Shall we continue with this?

Groot Lem...whats the chance of you being voted in? (serious question) Are you trying for the position of CEO at CSA?

Whats your take on the current affairs, and how would you go about rectifying the CSA, and racing?

Hey, Lem is President of Boland Cycling.

Not the place for him to air his view here.

Go to your club chair and tell him that they must Put Mr Lem's name on the nominations list for CEO.

AND IF YOU WANT CSA FINANCIAL STATEMENT, dont asked Carinus on the Hub, go to CSA website and request it from them. (as a member of a club and of CSA)

CSA dont have to answer or supply Financial Reports to Hubbers.

First asked him if he is interested in the CEO position. Than asked him to launch a campaign.

So by the way: I think there is 23 positions to be nominated and to be decided on ( not all permanent staff, but also volunteers)

So, if you want to make a difference (and not looking for someone to do it)

get involved in your club.
