Hi guys!

I'm rather new to the mtb scene.  I upgraded my tyres to tubeless a month ago, Kenda Karmas, but have noticed SIGNIFICANT wear on my rear tyre already.

I love the Karma in front, but think of getting something else on the rear when this one is done.

I weight about 100kg.

Any suggestions?  A friend suggested I keep the Karma front and switch to Crossmarx on the back?

Rear tyres will allways wear faster because most of your weight will be on the back half of the bike, the something slightly less grippy on the back like a Kenda Short tracker. My 2c.

The Karma's got a very soft compound and will turn into a slick fairly quickly . The TT or Mimo on that back has been giving me very good service and they last longer . Got Bontrager X?? Jones on the back now and they have also given me very good tyre live and good performance .

The trend to wider tyres is developing here now (it's been going that way overseas for a couple of years) so maybe you should consider that option. Bigger volume means a bigger footprint which reduces wear and improves grip and handling. You can also run lower pressures. Frame clearance can be a problem sometimes.
