That is quite a low BB indeed.

 

I thought the Shova's BB is low at 335mm (if memory serves me well) with 150mm rev up front.

 

It sure is happy when pointed downwards. Sad factor is that I run out of talent way before she does

 

Wanted to try out a angle set headset to slacken the head angle a bit, but I'm worried about:

A) It will be able to fit

 

B.ee) it will start to ride like a farm gate

 

HA is currently 69 deg. Maybe a tad under.

 

Apart from it fitting, which I am not sure of, the head angle can drop at least another 2° before any 'negative' effects are felt. It'd be a worthwhile buy if it fits!

Finally got to put my Mbuzi on the type of trail it was built for. Proper Enduro!

 

Between the DHX 4.0 and the Lyrik I have a smile that won't go away quickly. Best days riding yet!

I will measure the ID of the head tube at some point & do some enquiry regarding it.

 

Will post feedback if I've done so & how it transformed the bike.
