indeed. I was the guy walking around with Tiger Claws on his right arm after the first lap..

Chicks dig it....but then you went on and broke safari's seatclamp....he was standing and riding when you left so you owe him a beer...oh and the night laps with my little energizer torchkop thingamabob....suicide.

Yes, that would represent a problem. I can think of two areas where you must have been praying each time - steep concrete strip where you T-bone the river and go left and then again near the river, the rocky decent curving right before you turn left and follow the river again. You must have had fist pump like a beast after those sections.

those were some sweet spots. after my brakes decided not to work lekker I flew down both

Dude, it gets better, not only was it a torchkop but it's batteries were flat, so I reckon a candle on my stem would have worked better...luckily jonno was my navo, right in front of me and basically my lights, so I just stayed on his wheel, which created a new problem cause he is racing snake...was a very interesting couple of laps....but what doesn't kill you...

 

I am sure I heard some axe murder in the bushes by the river....or it could have been a rat

Well, seat-clamp or no seat-clamp, that course on a SS was made for standing, limited sitting...
