Accommodation in Citrusdal/Cederberg

Does anyone know of accommodation near this area on the West Coast. We are looking for a house that can accommodate 5 couples, self catering with some close by activities?

Try Cederberg Oasis. Very close to the middle of nowhere.

Cederberg Oasis makes some rather nice ribs and burgers. Don't know if they have enough room for 5 couples though.

You can try Nuwerust, they have chalets that sleep lots and are VERY reasonable.

 

Otherwise just google, loads of nice places for different budgets.

 

What activities are you looking for? Cederberg has nice hiking trails, a mtb route, caves etc to visit, but that isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I love this place but its kinda on the wrong side. Johan is a legend! His hand drawn maps always lead to interesting hikes! Im hoping to ride Transcederberg so I would ideally like a place less than a hours drive to the start.

Love this stuff and we have stayed there often but want to find a place near the start of transcederberg. Its the same weekend my girlfriends wants to do a weekend away with her friends ....

Do you want Citrusdal or Cederberg? Two very different places. Cederberg is littered with accommodation options but mostly cottages sleeping 4-6 people. Sandrift in the Cederberg has cottages that range from 4 sleepers to 10 sleepers. Check www.cederbergwine.com.

If the girls are going with, u could always stay at the warm baths in Citrusdal. That way they will have something to do while u r cycling.
