Valverde is very motivated, home tour and he is still carrying excellent form from the tour.

I think its going to be a Valverde / Nibali duel, I like both, but I would really like to see Valverde take a grand tour.

Yes.

A surprize package can be Roche.

You think so..? Maybe, I dunno, he is not a prolific tour winner, I think he will struggle in company of the likes of big hitters like Valverde, Nibali, Rodriguez maybe even Pozzovivo.

Maybe more idealistic I am for the young one...

He's got some good genes.

I'm watching him closely.

Saxo does have Kreuziger as nr 1.

Uran and Mollema is 2 to watch out for I think.

But the clear favourites is still Nibs and Valverde.

“I was sixth in the Vuelta two years ago and, like I said, the Vuelta is my favourite race. Every year I have been going well here. I’d love finally to be able to break into top five in a Grand Tour. That would be my next major goal.”

Yeah, Cancellera was the main reason he got caught, Morkov and clan jumped on his wheel and got towed to a win, they would never have caught Tony otherwise.

I never liked Cancellera.

Yes, I think Uran is a tremendous rider, a real challenger in most races he enters.

Just rewatched the highlights and was hoping all the way to the end the Big dog Martin pulled it off this time.

Stybar pips the still-winless-in-rainbow-stripes Gilbert in a tight finish.

Feel for the World Champ...

Tony Martin: 175km solo ride... average speed... 44 km/h.

How's that for putting things properly into perspective. That's a proper reality check right there.
