thank you. do you maybe know where i can look at these forks for cheaper.

Hard to find, but there's a guy n the hub selling new ones at a great price.

Difference between carbon and Alu is only 100 grams

Look at a good deal for a new or great deal Alu.

Saying that I am carbon befok, but 100grams is nothing and saves you stax

of $$$

No problem fitting Lefty to other bikes. There is an adaptor kit available that allows fitting to tapered headtubes as well. Just contact Tim at Omnico for the parts for your frame.

I will add one ryder to the comment that it will fit on any frame. I would steer clear of fitting the Lefty to lightweight aluminium frames that are not designed for a double crown fork.

Generally tapered head tube frames are strong enough BUT not all are. The Lefty is plenty stiff and the double clamp places a strong bending moment of the downtube to headtube junction.

Before you drop the cash on the fork, check with your frame's distributor or manufacturer whats the maximum length fork they recommend and if double crown forks are SAFE on the frame

Also check that your frame can accomadate a lefty. ito the height of the head tube, sizes large and up may mean that a lefty max will be needed.

As for the forces, the 90mm 29er lefty is 490mm, crown to axle, which is about the same as most 80mm forks 29er, and the 100mm is 505mm which is a the same as most 100mm forks.

If you going to the 110mm lefty you may be in for some geometry and handling oddities. As for the difference in forces, well its not really an issue as the total sum and the direction of loading is similar, if not better distributed over the downtube to head to junction, than a standard fork. I dont know of any manufacturers that waiver warranty ( on modern frames) if a lefty is fitted.

Some manufacturers so not recommend fitting a double crown fork to the headtube of their bikes. Lefty is a double crown fork.

Leverage is similar but total force at the clamps will be higher with a Lefty due the fork being more rigid overall.

Good to see so many have Gone LEfty :)
