Yes , He was ill for a while this year and had a couple of falls on decsents in mountain stages(Not used to the Mountains coming from RSA it seems). He tweeted yesterday that he is feeling healthy again and form coming close to last year.

I thought the team boss did not want to give him opportunities to show his potential, but reading the other comments I see he was injured and a bit sick.. I think he is an exceptional rider with the potential of Froom. Just need to get the opportunities.
