Entered. Will ride from the back with my temp. no. non-PPA mates. See if we can catch A ;) ha ha.

Haven't done a roadrace in ages. Also no longer a PPA member. Might decide to join you guys in temporary no group on Sunday. Could be fun.

Give us a shout, if we not late as always we'll be in Temp. Hopefully we not to rude and disobeying when trying to overtake some of the others Z to B

Anyone else mess up the date and on the weekend thought they had an extra week to throw in a long ride... Just me then? Undercooked for sure...

Never mind an extra week, I need at least an extra month ...

Probably too early to ask, but what are you guys wearing? So we can look for each other

Black Green and White kit. Atleast 2 Chinese Carbon bikes

Has anyone done the shorter version? My buddy has been on the mines for the last 3 months and hasn't touched a bike so was tossing up the 65km route as opposed the the longer one.

I couldn't shed much light but i remember someone saying that it was like 2 small starting groups and was tough as you ended up riding in 4's and 5's and constantly working in the wind instead of spending time in the big bunches on the long route.

The short route all depends on the wind. Their groups tend to get split very easily as you have all abilities mixed in with them. I know a couple of guys who couldn't finish the short route last year because of the wind (mind you they weren't the fittest). It's a very flat route but the wind can make all the difference.

The online entry numbers are looking good and so far we are up on last year and I can assure you there wont be 2 groups. Way things are looking we might have a new record attendance.
