Same here, weighed 93 last year Feb, dropped to 83 this year Feb, started LCHF and combined with cycling and running I am now down to 73, 20 kg lost in total. Hope I never put it back on again, love the cycling and duathlons too much! Must admit though, winter has been difficult to maintain the downwards curve. Good going everybody!

The Riding certainly helps I started at 110.8kgs and a time of 2h45 over 20km race after 22 years of no sport at all, now at 89kgs and just finished a 3h30 65km race so its a double benefit the riding gets rid of the weight and the loss has certainly benefited the riding. A 4 kgs still to go but getting there.

for those of you still fighting the bulge just keep attacking you will win. the training and riding doesn't have to be hard it just needs to be consistent and you will win.

I must do this test, I am also keen to see what body fat percentage is now, My goal weight is 90kg so it will be good to see if thats where I should stop.

Post a picture... us skinnyish okes will tell you where to go next... :)

Despite being mid 60's - at varsity when I was playing rugby I was 94-96kg - the only thin is that now - despite being 30kg lighter, my pants size is bigger... a 32, instead of a 30...

At least my t-shirt sleeves fit better now... :)

If you want a laugh - read my mate's Jannie's blog... I am the one who set his goal weights... :) He was a bit out on what he thought he was in the beginning..

What better way to spend a few quality hours - MT Biking with your boy! Can't wait for my kids to be old enough to join me.

Because you suffer together on climbs and hard rides there's a special bond that is culminated. Encourage your kids from young and enjoy the time together. Something to look forward to mate.

I did the Body for Life Challenge in 2003.Went from 96 to 70kg in 12 weeks.BF went from 36% to 4 % and put on 7 kg of muscle.

In 2007 I started puting weight on again but glad to be losing again.

That's awesome to reduce your BF in just 12 weeks! Keep it up as you did before!

Well done mate, you're right, it's so much more fun when you're fit. To get there is a challenge but its SO worth it.

Will post a pic on Monday and wait for directions.....:)

You are proof of you only as old as you feel!

What a laugh that was, so you must be the "guy from back home" with the bad news who kept the training alive from cyberspace.
