Try a Ducati dealership. They may have that size

Found a M7 fine thread bolt at Nuts & Bolts in Brackenfell

Will that hex head bolt fit into the cavity where the Round Allen cap head fitted...?

It does, but then you cant turn the bolt. I opted to fit a washer above the cavity, but I guess one could also make a groove in the bolt head to turn it with a screw driver.
