Switch to mountain biking only??

Intriguing. I started on and still love my mountain bike, but last week bought a road bike. I've had two good jaunts on it, and yes, I'm conscious about the safety factor.

 

Just this morning I was buzzed by two vehicles, causing me to nip a piece of leather out of my saddle on each occasion, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I get buzzed when I'm running, so it's nothing new.

 

Love the single track, love the speed on the open road.

 

Keep both.

slightly off topic, sorry, but as my rb got stolen i'm thinking of buying a mtb for a few reasons, one is safety yes but mainly cause of the fact that my 4 & 6 year old boys want to ride bike every day, on a rb i cant enjoy it with them so that only leaves mtb. i did a goole search and i cant find info on what i need to know ect when switching from road to mtb, there is plenty for mtb to road, so does anyone know of any good site i can do research on before making a choice on which mtb to buy please.
