Year end projects and builds

Hey guys. So I've been looking around and saving up for a cool year end project. I have a fe ideas so far :

 

1. A Fixed gear with a rear disc to ride with the Hipsters in Cape Town.

 

2. CX bike ( liking this so far )

 

3. Monster CX bike

 

4. BMX bike ( a bit too mainstream )

 

So, anybody doing any projects so far? What and how ? And any suggestions?

Well I've just finished building myself a nice Gary Turner (aka GT) rigid single speed, with parts I got off hub at good prices over time, as well as some older items the LBS had that they wanted to get rid of at good prices.

 

Maybe build yourself a bike (road or MTB your choice), and do everything from repainting it to putting it all together.

 

Painting the frame was actually a lot easier then I thought it would be, and good fun doing all the design work etc, finish might not be as good as one of the pro's in industry but its more then good enough for myself
