DOT Fluid is not oil and oil is not DOT fluid.

 

Don't get the two confused. The OP said oil. Further, we know he's talking oil 'cause he was complaining about the price. DOT fluid is dirt cheap - about R20 for 500ml. Mineral oil is ten times that.

 

eerm... DOT fluid is not always cheap.... Castrol sRF for instance.... Close to R1000/l but it IS worth it... just not in your daily driver...

You guys can alos look for mineral oils / DOT's at the motorbike shops...bigger qty's and much cheaper than LBS...
