NotSoBigBen Posted February 12, 2008 Share So this morning me and BBB do our long hill repeats on Comaro (you soufern okes know the one eh EWEP, ok so ex soufern!).I decide it will be cool to start in 4th then proceed into uncharted territory in 5th and then 4th and 3rd gears. Now it is a pretty tough climb but ja it's do-able. On the 3rd rep we pass a young man running up in his full work step outs including his step out shoes and we casually continue up the hill, lo and behold as we get about 3 quarters of the way up he comes running past and ............... no it's not possible to accelerate when you're in 4th gear and on the balancing edge on the bike at 5.783kph! Scotty - at 5am in the morning it's fine but LBB has tried it in the afternoon and he reckons it gets a bit scary so I would suggest not.
