ShaunH - you are right that Comaro does have a great shoulder for the climbing section with lots of space' date=' coming down there is also very little traffic that time of the morning. Works a treat for us.

BB, I'm an important man out that side, I'll get you in!!

ShaunH, Fishers is 8.0% climb over 987m, this thing is 9.5% over 1km.  It makes OUCH!  (all figures are as measured by my Polar!)

There is a running race called the Addo 100 miler that happens in the eastern cape. We always second the guys on the mtb. At about 21 km there is a climb for about 2km. So now you think... aawww 2km is not bad..... but then you see the gradient. You climb in that 2km 400m upwards. That is so steep that the one runner put in 30min on that climb. You actually want to throw your bike away, it is that steep.

ewep where you measuring ag de wet drive (fishershill) from, cause from the BP to the top is over 2kms? i use that hill at night round 6pm, it gets a bit hair raising with the taxi's.

1hill, nope, not from the BP.  I measure it from the flat where the new townhouses were built on the right.

@slick - That's the one.
