Also in. I missed the Clanwilliam Triathlon because it sold out, so might as well make the best of it ;)

 

7 hours does seem a bit long though. We did a 4:50 from E last year and the pace wasn't ridiculously fast. Would be interested in aiming for a relaxed 5:30 to 6:00 hour ride.

 

Edit to add: Oh, and I think the course was only 150km or so last year.

Different course this year. Last 60 odd km from Malmesbury all rolling hills, and if SE is blowing, whio knows what will happen.

Bargaining on 7hrs + as it will include pit stops, and the unknown factor of various strenght / fitness levels in the group, etc.

I'm in, but not for 7:00 hours. I'm willing to lead a slightly faster group and aim for about 5:30. But there will have to be at least 6 of us. Let me know who's keen.

Maybe we can split in two groups . Two groups might be safer on some of the roads with no shoulder to ride on. What's your feeling Wannabe?
