they are very different things you know, if your shock has a problem with clearance of the downtube thanks to the headset your frame is broken or the shock is in the wrong place.

Did you let rockshox do the conversion on the 2-step yet?

Was done after a couple of rides. Two step internals will be included in the sale...

Awesome shock after the conversion, only had one DH run with mine, and it was pap, luckily it was quickly replaced

That HD, which now belongs to Goose, was build the same time as mine with exact same spec other than the fork. Had the benefit of riding them back to back to experience true-life difference out on the trail. Was quite obvious that the std fixed travel version is the much better performing model.

 

Two step was mod even though there wasn't any "issues" per se other than it not being on the same level as the DH.

Slight hijack: Do you have any good base settings for a lyric? SRAM don't seem to have much info on their site.

Ventana make 5-7mm crown race'$$$ ,think only for CK and CCreeker$$$. Stacked pig headset too for think under 200 bucks has fair amount of bottom stack
