Front suspension not releasing HELP

Once I lock the suspension and then release it, it will not retract to the suspension mode, anyone got any ideas?

It could be the cable that gets stuck and doesn't slide back...

Make sure the cable and sleeve enter the 'shifter/lockout' in a perpendicular way, if the cable is skew or bent the cable is probably stuck and can't retract properly. Happened to me as well and I suggest a new cable or sleeve.

this helps, I had the cable replaced like 4 weeks ago, I think it is happening again,

is it a easy job? my concern is where do I start the setting from when setting to lock-down the cable

OK just checked the cable , it flows nicely, the blue round lock thing is very tight, could this be the problem?

It floes neither back or forth and i have to force it with a tight grip?

Loosen it abit and see what happens

Not the cable , it's the damper, take the cap off sand the edges lightly and it should be slick .

do I shine or sand the edges of the blue thing that come out and which the cable is attached to?
