Wez-O Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Guys guys guys, let's not fool ourselves, THEY ARE ALL "DOPING"!It just depends on how you define "doping" of course. Every pro tour cyclist is taking some sort of supplement that will one day be banned and classified as doping.The doctors and chemists of the teams probably have 100 times more resources than the anti doping agencies so they will always be ahead of the game. Think about it, back in the day, the riders used to take Ecstasy to improve their performance, Ecstasy was only banned many years later, so were they doping?

What? The only rider I heard taking Ecstacy was Big Jan and he was using it for recreational purposes". He couldn't even drive his Porsche straight and Ecstacy and ploughed into a row of bikes!

All the drugs ever used by cyclists were developed for other things and in other industries. There is simply not enough money in cycling for it to be at the forefront of drug development. When one sportsman, Alonso, from another sport, F1, can buy an entire cycling team it puts it in perspective. The costs of developing a drug are astronomical. We are talking billions of dollars in many cases. The doping doctors working in cycling were barely able to keep the names on the bags of blood straight a lot of the time. But lets wait and see. Froome said his win will stand the test of time. We all know what he meant and I believe him. Anyway to call it a road cycling thing is kind of strange since it seems they mostly catching MTB guys at the moment. Harryn 1
