Brian Fantana Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Name and shame is not enough. Rogue riders need to be blacklisted somehow to prevent them from entering any sanctioned event. It will require lots of admin though.

But i do employ guys from across the valley to cut and maintain the trails. It is they that informed me of this, without prompt. Which is cool. "Self-appointed scouts" - 3 subsistence jobs plus another back at the trailhead.... Its not about the entry fee, but the principle.

Cant say it wasn't expected though. Unfortunately this was the crux climb. I can only conclude these guys have absolutely no appreciation of the ongoing relations with landowners and how quickly that can change.

This new +11km section adds a nice bit of rural dirt road and fun single-track to stretch the legs before the climb back over! Total new RED (A+B+C) = 21km/480m elev. Who's going to be first to ride it all?
