G e r h a r d Odendaal Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 the rear cable has also been changed this bike is costing me a fortune. i just dont know how a BB and pivots can only last for 2 months Would be interesting to know what kind of riding you do. Does not sound right replacing these bearings after only 2 months.

I have seen derailleurs sheering off the hanger into cassettes....it is mtb'ing afterall and wear and tear is part of the game Pardon me friend but that's a old wife's tale. XTR is just as durable as XT.

Johny Bravo Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I actually dont understand what the rant is about. If you buy a S- works bicycle, there are a lot of things to consider. They are super expensive to buy, they require double the maintenance of other bikes, parts are expensive, you will be a prime target for bikejackings and robberies etc etc. If the frame cracked or something drastic went wrong I would understand. But little bearings on that cost a fraction of the bike. Now considering selling the bike, does not make sense to me.
