Numb Hands

Can also just take a short course of normal corticosteroids (anti-inflammatory guys) for neuropraxia (numbness that wont go away)

One week, 40mg per day

A pharmacist should help you out without a script

Better get a TUE for that though...if you are racing when you are taking it.... which a pharmacist can't do... :)

have the same problem, the ergo grips sorted it out for me, don't think adding extra padding to the gloves will hurt either. try lighting ur grip as you maybe tense and squeezing to hard.

grips:(i have tried)

ESI chunky

ESI extra chunky

Ergo(using them currently)

u may wanna try bar ends as the changing of hand positions helps alot.

Strengthening you core will not help much! as only 25% of ur weight should be going through ur hands. If you on a bike with a aggressive geometry, it maybe a good idea to move to something with a more relaxed geometry(more upright).

Long term solution and the best is to un-roof the ulnar never, ur medical aid will pay for it, making it cheaper than a new frame.

hope this helps, from someone with the same problem.

Mt problems disappeared when I moved my saddle back about 5mm. You can always move your saddle back. don't adjust up and down only front and back
