Yea, i enjoyed this years series alot more than i thought i would. I think the 10 minute batch intervals did alot of magic making the race a whole lot more pleasant. In the past i never enjoyed doing the Nissan series due to all the people and riding wheel-to-wheel most of the race.

Ironically now the smaller races that just allow everyone (400+ riders) to start in one big batch are looking like real amateur hour in comparison (i.e. having more congestion and walk-a-bike sessions than a 3000+ rider event).

Final race for the year was definaltey the best organised for the number of riders. Agree 10min batch intervals seemed to work (had not bottlenecks)......altough I am sure people will grumble about late start times. I still rate their goodiebags as awesome compared to other events.

First time back at at a Trailseeker event since Hazeldean 2012 and I must say the organisation was indeed awesome. Even the late start (only did the 20km) worked well.

Did any one check their garmin or strava.. We did almost 1000 kn climb. 947 m to be exact, and i was told its nice and flat

I checked strava for a handful of okes. Jacques - were you breathing very heavily on your computer and leaning far forward?? most people looked around 650m - 720m. That's the downside of barometric altimeters. The GPS-based altimeters will be a lot more accurate in this respect.

Well i use a garmin fenix.... It does have gps and also barometer... Weird.

Upload to Garmin Connect and select Elevation Correct and see if it makes a difference.
