Ok try this.

If you have a tracking reference number

  1. go to www.trackmyparcel.co.za
  2. Select Royalmail, etc. from dropdown box
  3. Enter reference number (e.g. RQ......GB)
  4. Click Track my parcel
  5. If it says it's in SA go back to http://www.trackmyparcel.co.za
  6. Select South African Post Office (SAPO)
  7. Enter reference number (e.g. RQ......GB), yes the Royalmail, etc. one
  8. Click Track my parcel
  9. This will show where it is in SA

Mine's in transit from Cape Mail Hub, hopefully get the slips today or tomorrow, in time for the weekend

Life is so much easier and less stressful when you know what you are doing with shopping online overseas and tracking items.....one wonders why some do shop blindly then worry for no reason, apart from they have not done their research on how to track the item...

This was the answer I ended up getting from CRC

We are sorry to hear that your order has not arrived yet– we know how much of an inconvenience this can be. Your order has been dispatched to you on the 23/10/2013 via a Standard Delivery Service.

Just to let you know, it’s not possible to track this service.

  • 2 weeks later...

If you put the Parcelforce number into the Parceltrack Speed Services/Post Office field, you get the II*****ZA number

Okes ... quick one ....

I have some bits and bobs coming from CRC and like a complete tosser I forgot to get the shipping that has a tracking number ...

From the CRC website it says the parcels take 8 working days or so (which is today) ...

But now ... I have always shipped with mates etc - never to myself

So i have my work address as the billing and delivery address, ... So do i just wait for the package to be delivered at our offices?

Do you then pay the courier directly for the excess (VAT)...

and then also - any idea what would happen if no one is in the office when these characters try to deliver?? (I ask as we are having our staff party on Wed - and i can see that knowing my luck they will try and deliver then)

Chances are you will get a little notice that there is a parcel at the post office for you. You will have to then go to the post office to pay and collect.

This...

Depending on the package size, it will stop at the PO in your delivery addresses district, and you'll have to go there to collect it, and pay any fees (VAT etc) there...

i think i'll just have to go to the postoffice and ask.

Hahaha...Superstar components gives a tracking number for Royal mail and as bad as the tracking may seem the notice from the post office arrived two days after I collected my order so I would say its best to just keep popping into the post office and winging it!
