World MTB marathon champs 2014 - qualifying criteria?

Hi,

 

I see Cascades in 'Maritzburg is hosting next year's MTB marathon world champs. Does anyone now what the qualifying criteria (if any) is for the race. i.e. is this for Elite riders only or also amateurs and Masters?

So I presume you have to ride this to qualify? Not sure if there will be other events around the country?

That's the weekend after Joberg2C so no chance I can do that, Hopefully there will be other qualifying races.

This event will be the qualifier (Riders 30+) for Marathon World Championships Rainbow Jersey, which is a new World Championship jersey for Masters in their respective 5 year category age groups. Please contact Dellah Paul for more information regarding this. dellah@cyclingsa.com

I was hoping they would have at least 1 qualifier here in WC.Perhaps Tulbach or Wellington events?
