I'll do neither. Cold and wet..... two races come to mind. Illovo Eston and Hill2hill. Rod e both in cold wet raint conditions and both races were ***. Hot and dry..... one race comes to mind. Outsurance expedition the year they ran out of water at the water tables and were offering concentrated powerade with a smile on their faces. I ended up with what I am sure was heat stroke and a really *** tan on my head.

If it is either raining or sweltering on race day, the organisers can keep my entry fee as a token of goodwill and go buy beer.

Hot and dry by a small margin. Cool and wet within reason would be preferred. Mud is okay, but sludge is a different story, there to ride, not carry my bike through marshland.

I prefer the Hot and Dry, but the occasional wet ride is great to.

I dislike cold....like sub 10 deg, and I pretty much stay at home.
