Wie dit mag aangaan,

Insake :- Donasie en Mnr. Kleinhans se betrokkenheid.

Ons hier, van Huis Zonnekus, wil eerstens hiermee ‘n groot dankbaarheid uitspreek

teenoor u, vir die donasie van 3 (drie) looprame wat ons vanoggend ontvang het. Baie

dankie vir u pragtige gesindheid om ook u hart oop te maak vir ons ouer persone. Ons

is baie geseënd om in die pragtige stad te bly en ook deel te wees van die Wes Kaap.

Ek het onlangs ook vir ons beheerraad gesê dat, sou dit nie vir gebede van ander wees

nie die bestuur en bedryf van Huis Zonnekus nie moontlik sou wees nie. Uit eie krag

sou dit gedoem wees.

Die klein woordjie “dankie” word soms so maklik gebruik dat dit vir my half na ‘n

formaliteit voel (en soms voel dit so half leeg) maar glo my dat ons wil dankie te sê met

‘n opregte hart met woorde wat dalk nie ons dankbaarheid kan beskryf nie.

Ons wil ook graag hiermee erkenning gee aan Mnr. Kleinhans wat hierdie projek begin

het te midde van die moeilike tye waarin ons tans is. Hy is vir my ‘n bron van inspirasie.

Ek ka nook hom aanbeveel vir ander instansies wat dalk van sy hulp wil gebruik maak.

Baie dankie dat met mense soos julle kan ons sê : “Die Here is ons Herder, ons kom

niks kort nie.”

April, Cycled to Durban. 1600km in 7 days and return. Raised R4300.00

 

Tours planned for the remainder of the year are,

 

July, Knysna. 550km plus Return 550km. In 2 days.

 

October, Amashova Durban Classic. 1650km plus Return 1650km. In 7 days.

 

November, Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge. 1500km plus Return 1500km. In 6 days.

December, Die Burger Cycle Tour.

I am going to attempt to cycle the distance, 550km in Under 24hours. The basic ticket is R60. But because I will try to break 24hours barrier, not sure if I will succeed.

If I manage to do the distance, R1 for every minute I save, under the 24hours.
