I'm guessing the cell number is the same across the various scam sites. Woza seems to be their host of choice.

Will investigate when I'm at laptop not mobile phone...

Thank Heavens i found this forum!!!

I was looking at buying 200 chairs and so searched for a supplier on the internet I found the name of the company and look and language a bit dodgy so decided to check them out on the net. Then I found this forum. Everything is exactly the same!! The emails are identical to what you have been discussing.

I requested quotations - from 2 different companies - they come without banking details, VAT numbers etc. The invoices/quotations are identical - right down to the style of the logo for the company name - just that they have different names. The one is a Mr Mohammed in Kuruman and the other a Mr Smith in Bloemfontein.

The minute I requested a copy of their BBBEE certificate - the one company stops corresponding and the other tells me that they do not give it out because it is with the owner.

I sincerely hope that they get caught one day before more innocent people out there get caught in their trap.

Guys - please email Devina at woza on:

sitebuilder-support-southafrica@google.com

and report these sites.

Here is another operating with the same contact details, layout etc:

http://www.cyclingaccessorieszone.wozaonline.co.za/home

I have emailed Devina but given that we can't prove they're scam sites the more pressure we add the more likely the sites are to be removed.

Do it now.

Save your fellow riders from being ripped off.

I understand that without proof it's hard for woza to remove these sites. Only way is to show them that their reputation is being damaged. We do this by emailing the hell out of them.

Do it now.

Save your fellow rider being scammed.
