Scuff marks left by front derailer on downtube..

Hi guys just curios to know, how do I stop the FD from leaving marks on my downtube, after a while when you release the clamp, their are horiible marks left.

You could wrap tape around the spot where the clamp is.

Or maybe cut up an old tube and line the inside of the clamp with a rubber strip.
