Groot Lem Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Dont ride alone esp in pappegaaiskop, western side of Stellenbosch.Corrie Muller (Epic masters podium) rode this morning and a person with hockey stick attacked him, breaking his Specialised carbon MTB frame.Ride with a buddy at all times.

I live less than 300 m from the entrance to the hill on the Onderpapegaaiberg side, and I have not ridden there for over 6 months now. It is actually quite sick. GL, where did the attack occur? Near the top, or down near the cemetery?

Near the top, or down near the cemetery?[/quote'] And I live almost next door to Homer and have not cycled on Papegaaiberg in the last 6 months either.I noticed some really suspicious characters there on my last ride and with all the reports of attacks I did not feel like taking the risk again. Really sick the state of affairs in this country!

Like? Not being facetious....just want to know. We have complained, etc...they "send out patrols"...which is a dude on a scooter who spends most of his time parking under a bush and drinking with the bergies.
