I have found these so far, but wont have time to do all of them and want to select the best spots to do 3-4 rides.

Any locals on the hub that can recommend the best routes? Might also need some riding buddies if anyone is keen, drop me a PM.

from 17-19 Dec and then again on 24-27. In between I am in St Francis, but can drive from there towards PE if the trails are worth it. Also want to go towards tsitsikamma for a ride during the time I am in ST Francis.

2-4 hours. Preferably early mornings.

In addition to the trails you have mentioned:

Jbay bikepark is definitely worth a visit. It is between Jbay and Thornhill.

If you are willing to travel all the way to PE, you can give Hopewell Trails a shot.

Longmore forest is a tricky one, better take a local with, there is a very complex network of roads in that place, and the hills are long and steep. Awesome workout though, and one of my favourite places to spend a Saturday morning.

Hi.  Going to St Francis in December and was wondering if there were any routes that anyone may know of?

Crossways would be about a 40 min drive

Also a good piece of gravel road going out towards Oyster Bay to get some milage

J Bay bike park also close by

then there are also groups leaving at 6 am from the traffic circle doing a road ride towards Humansdorp every morning

Last time I was there I rode Hopewell trails and it was amazing - easily the most fun I've had on a  mtb trail. Some fast flowing single track on the mountain, some technical accents and slate downhills. Think the ride was about 50km's.

I am in SFB. when you head out to humans for take the first left over the new bridge. When you get to the T junction left takes you to oyster bay and right to Humansdorp. Right is longer and more scenic. 55 KM. Oyster bay is a 50km ride from Quayside.
