One piece handlebar and stem

Hi all

 

Any thoughts and reviews on a carbon one piece handlebar and stem for my new carbon rigid hardtail Mtb?

Carbon bars/stems scare the bejeebers out of me.

 

They save a few grams over their alu counterparts but give me extruded alu over hand laid carbon anyday.

 

Also - you gotta be dead (ha ha ha ha) sure that the stem length is right to buy one piece.

 

I guess that would be a "don't do it" from me. Unless you're bling weight weenie - in which case anything but a one piece barstem would be a sin!

At that price it might be worth just trying it out...go for 100mm stem and hope for the best.

so when nightriding where do you fit your light? those "shoulders" are odd shaped.
