Along these lines perhaps: "how dare they charge the same when clearly the overheads are so much less when I buy online? Surely it should be less?" It's a book. If you don't like them, buy it somewhere else dude... Come on. I hear what you are saying. But 70% increase in price is taking the p1ss a bit. 10 or 20 % is understandable... Pipsqueak Posted December 24, 2013 Share Exclusive books staff are really great, the best thing about the store. The prices however, as everyone says above, are off the chart. I read a lot, and a new release at EB will cost around R270. If I buy the same book on Kindle it's about R120 (and Kindle prices are the same as Amazon's physical book prices). So IMO, Amazon is ripping us on ebook prices, which means that we're getting totally reamed by EB. Not even an argument. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
