Hey that beats a couch in the kitchen...

Sadly, it is in the kitchen - I asked the wife and she was fairly certain a coach was not a good idea in the kitchen - no idea why...

If it is a very good looking, wealthy coach, she may be interested.

Thanks all for the replies - especially the one that actually made helpful suggestions. Progress so far:

Handy Andy with scotchbright - tried before posting

Pencil Eraser - Tried

Benzine - still to try

New tiles - spares all gone - not retiling 120m2

'Purge' - still to try

Salt &/or rubbing compound - I'll save that for last - with that I'll remove the mark but also leave a light stripe on the tiles.

Brasso - Tried

Toothpaste - Tried

There is a pink paste stuff that I found in the kitchen cupboard called chemco?

Use that with a scotch pad , it should do the trick.

Worked on some marks left on tiles from the metal feet of patio chairs.

Thanks - I think Chemco make a number of products - any idea on the specific one?

Coca-Cola maybe??? It works for all kinds of things.

Why not..... And if it doesn't work, I can add my favourite spirit and drink the problem away

Jokes aside, I'll give it ago - thanks

Try Mr Muscle 100% limescale destroyer for bathrooms. This stuff is seriously strong. Removes even rust marks from tiles. I have also used it to clean of brake and road dirt from my vehicle's brake caliper units. They come out shining as new.
