R100.00 per race, for riders over 16 years of age, and;

R50.00 per rider participating as u16 etc, PROVIDED the 'online entry' option is used - these entry fees remain applicable till January 11.

On-the-day entries, and last-week before a race entries will be charged at a 50% higher rate. (That means R75 for youth and R150.00 for oldies smile.png

Frame numbers with an embedded chip must be bought on day of first race for a cost of R50.00 UNLESS already in possession of one from About2Time. (These are the same frame numbers as used for the PPA / RON League)

Prizes to be awarded to top 3 in all ages, at end of series.

45 min plus one lap crits, also known as kermesses. see bolandcycling.co.za

As far as I understand it wouldn't this be criterium racing and not kermesse?

I was under the impression kermesse was much longer laps with a longer overall distance...not that it really matters though, i'll still be there.

I grew up with things called (Belgian) kermesses, of Kermiskoersen, and later learnt about the French / American criterium.

In those days 'Campy' was abbreviated as 'Campag', again, until the US took over the world :)

See you on Saturday....full road closure, safe parking, etc.

I see the lights by linea racing is starting on the 25th of January...some conflicting dates with their races. Best is you and Wayne sort it out and perhaps host it together.

Care to give us more details why?

Hope you will be emailing everyone that already entered to let them know, would hate for a bunch of cyclists to drive out to that side of the world for nothing...
