Snow Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Ok, thankfully prices have come down despite the ZAR weakness (albeit more of late). However, there appear to be a few alternatives to the rather expensive SRAM XX1/X01 that r not being advertised. Is an XT groupo at R8k reasonable? There are now Shim clutch options that put a 1x11in reasonable reach. So are the other existing groupo options reasonable?

Baaisikilist Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Remember, your XX/XO1 'groupsets' don't include brakes. And you'll want Shimano brakes anyway. XT is decent value for money.
