Hub help

Pin-it

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some recommendations regarding hubs. I was looking to build up a set of wheels with Hope Evo 2 hubs but am really struggling to get them in the right configuration. Was wondering if anyone can recommend something similar to the hopes that I could maybe look at?

What configuration are you looking for?

They are adaptable to any configuration you need. Your lbs should be able to get you the parts needed.

Superstar components switch evo hubs are also an option, but might take a while to get here by post

How long would I be looking at for the super stars?

Ive gor the Superstar switch evo hubs, ordered and was sent via registered mail. Waited about two weeks for the order arrive. Also really impressed with the quality of the hubs espicially for the price that i paid.

Mine were here within a week. Does any one know what spoke length they use with 29" wheels?

They vary. When i had mine built i know the front hub used the same as what they use for the Hope.

Back was diff.

Cool thanks! Seems getting them built up is more expensive than the hubs.

Mine weren't to bad. Deff worth getting built properly.

Got mine built with Flow EX rims so got a nice strong wheel set now.

Thanks guys. The best qoute I got was ~ R1200 for the build which is R60 more than I paid for them...

Think i paid the same. Didnt want them falling apart while riding so i got someone who knew what they where doing.
