Couldn't find a pic of me either, but there are of my mates before and after me. Also saw them taking pics on SS2. Definitely heard the shutter

If you could hear the shutter you are going too slow...;)

A quick question, was there a prize giving after the event?

I would like to know as I am busy organising the Eastern Cape's first Enduro of 2014, which will have 4 stages. However due to the fact that we are going to use manual timing we might not be able to have the results ready for a same day prize giving. So I am considering giving away all our sponsored prizes as lucky draws and only have the results available the following day.

Thanks. One last question, do you know which timing system they used?

We have a company in PE who can do Enduro timing with live updates, but they charge R100 per rider, which might scare off a lot of potential riders, especially because EC riders don't "get" the Enduro concept yet.

IIRC they used Mobii/Wild Timing

The system that was used was the Mobii pod system, had a RFID tag on the back of your number board. They also ran manual timing over that to rule out any irregularities.

Starting to look like I'm hitting Jonkers on Friday again for some revenge. Although, SS1 may be best left alone till after the rains. Perfect time to try out the Provincial DH line. Clipped in. Nice knowing you all.
