For sure Needleshy.

Omega Duane Man - ah the bliss of an incognito profile, this is Savage speaking! See you out on the trails!

Hanko, maybe you should make a plan to join the rekki to these potential hotspots....!

Ah. Well in that case you aren't invited. hehehe.

I've got an accommodation spot lined up. It's not in Barrington. It's in Sedgefield. Never stayed there before but it looks decent. Last time we stayed in Vic Bay which was cool but it adds to the drive to get to the trail park.

Then the the only thing I can talk about with any enthusiasm will be how clever my dog is. Eish.

Who knows which door I'm going to open by the sound of the keys I pick up by the way.

That is clever! Mine can recognize over 6 different stops when he's driving with me. Like he can read street names or something!

. Naaa. Miniature poodle. None of that puffy stuff just super awesome Mohawk dog who is super agro with strangers. To make this more relevant. Here's a pic of him checking out a little stump jump that could be in an upcoming mini enduro in June ...

I feel like I should know you? We think alike! Should meet up coming down mid june

Mid June...road trip to scope some natural trail goodness and hit up that park everyone been talking about

There's a group of us going up over the June 16 long weekend. Well worth the trip in my opinion. Mark Gordon builds some damn good trail. And Rob the land owner is a super nice guy.

if i know how many people and all i can try and book a railway tram from the top of montague pass to take onto the super rocky 2.5km trail and the rest of witfontein trails afterthat and make a strava enduro out of it with the winner getting a 6 pack. tram would be R50 per person.

Is it the same line that goes past the old DH trail that Brett and the boys were maintaining?

nope, thats the witfontein DH , this one is literally an old hiking trail only accessible by a few kilometres of railway track ( of over a mountain) . top is green then you hit rock gardens then shale then rock gardens est est straight into a river

Ok. Sounds sick. does your bike point in a downward trajectory for the entire time?

. -13% over 2.6km. It's what I believe an enduro trail should be. Naturally technical with varied terrain and gradients. The parts in the pics are flat. Then down them flat then slightly up then it goes down steeper and steeper and steeper. Nothing super steep but very physical. I always get armPUMP about 2/3 in and have to stop just to un clamp my hands for a few seconds.

Much More physical than ss1 and ss2 from helderberg. (IMO)
