Routes/Trails near Buffelspoort

Hey guys

 

Going to Omaramba resort in Buffelspoort this weekend. Can anyone recommend any nice routes/trails near there? MTB or Road?

Lots of routes around the dam, but not sure which gates will be locked. You can also head to breedsnek climb from there. I would definitely take the MTB.

jaaa breedtsnek and lots of district roads around canopy tour etc....

Mostly its sand road riding, but a beautiful area and some nice climbs.

We haven't ridden the Breedts climb in a while. We usually park at the wedding venue on the Hekpoort side (forgotten the name☺️)- what's the condition of the gravel road to, the climb up and the descent down the other side like?
