Thats because the 2 guys who rode away from everyone in the 1st 350m from day 1 never rode day 2.

It doesn't matter.

Who dares to show up at the start line, puts his/her body on the line and seize opportunities.

Every day, every time.

huh you probably right but just to correct you it was 4 of us, I was first to drop from that group of 4 due to a dropped chain just before wp1 then a wrong turn after the ST which came after wp1, who knows what could've happened if not for my bad luck. I spoke to the guy who finished 1st afterwards & he said he rode away from everyone at the half way mark so go figure. So the question is why didn't they ride day 2, scared of a bit of water that was forecasted?

uhm, i thought the Houw Hoek was a non timed fun ride....

Milky is lucky my SS was out to have fun.... Bwahahahaha

I know Meezo & I'm glad you had the SS there for the weekend kudos bro.

Yes I know it was non timed fun event but my fun only starts when I'm going through the ST at neck breaking speeds with no hold ups by back markers. So we decided to have out own race within the "Ride". Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

ahh milky, i have photo evidence showing you were first man home on day 2, you lil racing snake you. Thanks for opening all the farm gates for us
can you see why I didn't want to post that here on the hub, I know the idiots here, they will fabricate anything to make you look like the drol.

Ps if the shoe fits where it & tie the laces while you at :-)

Congrats on the win Milky, you're a machine dude. Off the topic, did you run a 1x10 setup at the Philadelphia race? and what size front chainring if you did? I've gone that route now and remembered how strong you pulled the group on one flat section, so just trying to get my mind around the "spinning out" dilemma

I run a 32. Don't worry about spinning out. It doesn't really happen. And believe me you need it on the hills. Unless you get a 40 or 42 from Evo.

Thats what I want to avoid, more costs! I think tomorrow will be the ultimate test for me with the climbs that awaits..
