ASHBEGGS Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hi Guys I've been searching for a new bike for weeks now and just can't settle on anything.I have around R 20k to spend and have managed to narrow my choice down to the following two bikes unless someone has a better offer than these around that price that I've missed??? I need to choose this week between the SCOTT SCALE 940 or MERIDA BIG NINETY NINE 1000??? I'm no pro rider but not a beginner either. Currently I've been riding a 2010 MONGOOSE TYAX SUPER. The type of riding I do is stage stuff like Sani2c and 40-60km single day rides. Please help, I gotta choose this week!!!!

Johny Bravo Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 It has to be one of the carbon momsens. Much better value. Some horror stories on the hub regarding Scott aftersales service. Merida just has no WOW factor for me, yet everytime I see a Momsen I drool a little.
