Claudio Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 The idea behind the PYGA OneTwenty was to make a bike that you can ride just about anywhere, however you like and have fun. It's not meant to be a marathon or enduro racer or anything as serious as that. But I don't doubt that you can do exactly that with it while laughing the whole time. Click here to view the article
LazyTrailRider Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Nice review. On the point of rear travel use, how much sag did you run the shock with? I run the recommended 30% on my OneTen29, and find that I pretty much use all the available travel during hard-pushing rides, without bob being an issue.
Claudio Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 how much sag did you run the shock with? Hey Martin, thanks for pointing that out, I forgot to add it in there. I made sure to run the sag at 30% as dictated by the guys at PYGA. I wonder if running it 35% wouldn't have done the trick. PYGA are a bit strict on this point, though. richardkzn 1

Iwan Kemp Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Hey Martin, thanks for pointing that out, I forgot to add it in there. I made sure to run the sag at 30% as dictated by the guys at PYGA. I wonder if running it 35% wouldn't have done the trick. PYGA are a bit strict on this point, though.I'm sure going as high as 35% would result in a shock that will blow through it's travel and squad under load when hammering the pedals out of corners. Stunner of a bike. Love the action photo!
Claudio Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Most probably. I have heard of some going more than 30% though, but I'm not sure how far they went. It's really not to say that 30% didn't work really well, though.
Big Wheel Cycles Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Slap a PIKE on the front of the 120 650b and it becomes a beast!
heini Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I used my Pyga 120 650B for the Attakwas this year and I had a smile all the way to the end. HAKAHANA TRAILS 1
Muzzarati Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Is this Enduro? Will it come with an Enduro bottle cage? Heinrich Hattingh 1
Noshow Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Can anyone who has ridden both give a comparison of the One Twenty 650 vs the One Ten 29?
