Gents ,

Thank you for the feedback .

Here is just some appetizers :

* The marking is being done completely different from last time ; Color coding used on the various routes , with LARGE sign posts at splits

* The water points have been beefed up ... Now includes tyre repair facilities ! And for the takers on the 55 k's some eats to power you UP !

* and more importantly , the routes are in pristine condition and above all there is sunny skies forecasted for Saturday !

PS our Marshall's are better trained & equipped

No guts , no glory ...

GOOD NEWS THURSDAY

Saturdays event have been changed to a free ride ! As it will not be a timed event .

Due to various reasons we decided to postpone the race to 8 November 2014 .

For those that have entered online ; your entey fees will be carried .

As we are commited to presenting a professional series on the best route in Gauteng the ride will be open to anyone that want to have a decent practice or a leisurely ride on the 35 km .

The route will still be well marshalled & marked .

There will just be no time keeping and one water point only .

There will be eats & drinks on sale

See you all the on Saturday morning

Please don't get despondent - local races takes a while to get known and popular. Keep plugging at it. As far as advertising, try contacting some local clubs (go to the bike shops and chat to the owners) and get them involved. If our club knew of this (and it wasn't Warrior race this afternoon) we would've rocked up in some numbers. Just my 2c.

We are from De Wildt ... We push on and push thru !

After the weekends event , we actually feel very posative ; NO ONE GOT LOST , and everyone enjoyed the route .

We even found a lost set of car keys & cellphone !

Gauteng North cycling actually asked us , if we would be interested in hosting another event prior to 8 November 2014 . The jury is still out on this one

Thank you so much for all your feedback & suggestions . We have learned a great deal ,

Grrrrr
