Got friends wanting to do the short one. Gonna do the long one again. Keep some gas in the tank for the last 10km. Lekker race and good training run for the Karoo to Coast. This could very well become the West Coasts version of the Karoo to Coast. Great bunch of Marshalls and helpers at the water points. O YEAH DONT FORGET THE COOLING OFF IN THE POOL AFTERWARDS. On the TransKaroo - personally the down ride don't appeal as much to me as the up-ride. For this one - I think both can be equally nice, doing that climb late in the race would be a good challenge!
