Cippo Posted May 5, 2014 Share Im using First Ascent but they get soaked in the rain. Any suggestions as well for decent gloves when riding in the wet.

scuzzy Posted May 5, 2014 Share You get some really nice gloves on the International Online Stores, but it is difficult to know how they fit. I am going to look at the Defeet gloves at CWC, but they are not waterproof. These ones seems to be very good, just not sure about the wool:http://www.evanscycles.com/products/sealskinz/ultra-grip-gloves-ec030433
scuzzy Posted May 5, 2014 Share i use nike running gloves I've got those as well ja, nice to use underneath the normal gloves, especially if it gets warmer, then you can take it off.

mtbsmurf Posted May 5, 2014 Share Heard a rumor that kitchen gloves (those plastic ones from PnP) work a treat under normal gloves as cold / wet insulation.

That or latex gloves I have read about. I think it makes sense since it will help keep the wind out and the heat in.
Jakkals. Posted May 5, 2014 Share I use these, they work great. Cycling Fashion Police will kill me though. They look bulky but they are soft and easy manageable with all finger use. http://www.capeunion...-thinsulate-glo http://www.capeunionmart.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/460x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/l/r/lr_k-way_soft_shell_thinsulate_glove_black_-_100998.jpg.jpg Edited May 5, 2014 by antonj Paul Ruinaard
scotty Posted May 5, 2014 Share Mate of mine has a pair of seal skin gloves he got from overseas, warm as toast but breathable so your hands don't sweat. Keithc
Cellar Posted May 5, 2014 Share I use first ascent thermal inners. Great cause you can take them off when it gets warm. Use them on the motorbike as well.

I'll struggle to find/feel my pocket, let alone what's inside... (which is exactly why I'm also looking for a solution, because that's the problem I have with my thicker gloves... the name of which escapes me now)
