Hi All,

 

Below is my latest addition. Its the 40th Anniversary Mongoose model. "Know Your Roots"

 

I took it for a ride the other day and decided on doing a little shoot. I will upload some details thumbnails shortly.

That is very nice! I have my fist proper BMX still in my garage. Needs a bit of TLC. Around a 1984/5 model. The welding is still the best I ever saw.

First the TLC. Want to restore it nicely for my boy when he is tall enough. Weighs a ton though. I still remember the day my mom bought it for me. Can't recall many better memories than that one. I raced that bike with Permatubes. Didn't know better till only years later.

That's a very good idea. If you need any advise regarding the refurb please do not hesitate to ask. Please do it right. Maybe use the BMXmuseum to give you ideas of how what needs to be done before jumping in. They are very helpful and they give you great ideas of how to refurbish old bikes.
