Typical (friday rant) most "scientific studies" are done with men in mind, because women cannot be tested ... ok women are too complex ... or we don't suit the criteria due to x, y,z.

It would be refreshing if some studies were done with women in mind, not just studies specifically aimed at womens health, but health, training and wellness in general. (rant over)

I am too old and too much estrogen anyway.

It's a good point. In our case we aren't testing women because we thought we had a better chance of finding male low-carb cyclists.

As well as 1000's other studies. Not picking on you guys, but it is true. Women are not chosen to be 1st on any list when it comes to any type of study, specifically sports science. Second or third best or later studies perhaps but never ground breaking studies, unless it has to do with very typical "women" things ... OK going to think happy thoughts now, not good for blood pressure or state of mind, it is Friday afterall, best day of the week.
